Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 14, 2025

Plain English: We collect your email to create your account, we track which links get clicked so publishers can see their analytics, and we use cookies to keep you logged in. That's basically it.

What We Collect

When you create an account: Your email address and the username you choose.

When you click external links: We track which links get clicked, what device you're on, and which debate the link was in. This helps publishers understand their content performance.

When you browse: Basic stuff like your browser type and general location (country level, not your address). This helps us understand how people use the site.

Why We Collect It

  • To let you log in and save your debates
  • To show publishers which of their debates are getting traffic
  • To provide analytics on link clicks and engagement
  • To keep the site secure

Link Click Tracking

This is important to understand: When you click a link inside a debate, we record that click. We do this so publishers can see which links are popular and understand their content performance. We don't track what you do after you leave our site.

Who Else Sees Your Data

We use a few services to run MasherMind:

  • Supabase stores your account and our database
  • Vercel hosts the website
  • AI providers (like Anthropic and Google) generate the debate content

We don't sell your data to anyone.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in. That's the main thing. Your browser lets you block cookies if you want, but you won't be able to stay logged in.

Deleting Your Data

Want your data deleted? Contact us and we'll remove your account and associated data. Debates you've published will be removed too.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For big changes, we may email you.
